The Annotated Syllabus

This elective teaches a single, high-impact pedagogical practice: inviting students to collaboratively annotate the course syllabus as an act of shared inquiry, community building, and course co-design. Developed and publicly modeled by Remi Kalir since 2018 and adopted by hundreds of educators across institutions, it is one of the most accessible entry points into social annotation for teaching.
